#245 Die Toten Hosen - Tage wie diese

-Why?
I have heard this song in many public events lately (especially related to football public viewings). All the Germans were singing along; I wanted to join, but couldn't mumble a word. And how do you find a song from almighty Internet, if you can only croon a short melody of refrain (and no lyrics)?
I happened to see a night movie about political history of Germany tonight by Bundestag. During the Berlin Wall collapse part, they played t h i s(!) song again. By leaps and bounds, I grabbed my smartphone out of pocket and managed to record a short clip. Being so fulfilled after doing this - now i can f***ing find you, song!, cause you are recorded with lyrics and melody! :D Later, replaying the video in my phone again, I heard almost nothing, but wind that has been recorded...oh prank. I established to understand only "Kein Ende in Sicht" and won the searches at long last!

#238 Bush - Letting the Cables Sleep (Nightmares on Wax Remix)

-Why?
One of those few times, when I consider remix being better than original. Pure rhythms hand in hand with a sad melody. For good measure, are the lyrics meaningful for me at the moment. Definitely a tune to repeat.

#231 Honig - In My Drunken Head

-Why?
"and isn't it comforting
to know what your pilot thinks
to know that your house still stands
to open your mouth and sing
to hear you pick up the phone
to know you're still there when I put it down
to know that the world outside is cruel and is beautiful"

The message from this song is a lesson learned for me today.
Cool vibes anyway!

#136 Curly Strings - Kauges külas

"Kauges külas" drew my attention already at their concert in Berlin, though I knew it wasn't a released song yet. I couldn't especially forget the line "et saada pruuniks, teiseks juuniks" ("To get tanned by the second of June"), it was playing in my mind for a long time. Nice, that they decided to release exactly this song as next :)

#130 John Watts - Walking The Doberman

-Why?
I remember I heard a song from radio, lyrics telling "yes, yes, yes" only.
Yes, I found that tune now! ;)

To be honest, it could be a soundtrack for some action movie, not a song in my average playlist.
Since my past day was peppered with so many no-no-s,
I'm sharing this yes-song with you with a pleasure, though.

#81 Kerli - Love Me Or Leave Me

On of the most successful Estonian artist atm - Kerli - just performed on Estonian Music Awards (EMA) show last weekend. Also currrent song, that I hadn't heard about before, was included in  her show.

All these love affairs, where no one cares enough for me
So give me your everything or give me nothing ever.

At the age of 18, after growing up in Estonia and living 2 years in Sweden, Kerli moved to the United States where she continued to perform and write songs, ultimately getting an audition with L.A. Reid, who signed her to Island Def Jam Music Group in 2006.

I'll pretend I'm fine, but I'm about to crack

Two songs which were co-written by Kerli for Utopia, "Skyscraper" and "I Feel Immortal", were later recorded by artists Demi Lovato and Tarja Turunen respectively.

Love me or leave me or quit me or keep me
