#77 Cayucas - Will The Thrill

Okcupid. Someone had written a youtube link under one of his uploaded pictures. I really do never open such things, but the picture was very artistic and cool, so I guess I got curious what is the video about and why is it pasted under this exact photo. Now I have lost this member and don't even remember his face. But the song is easy chill and has a funny melody :)

#73 The Stranglers - Strange Little Girl

I am not at all surprised that I point that song out. From 80's and from UK - nuff said.
Heard it suddenly and positively-surprisingly in FluxFm.

#70 The Concept - D-D-Dance

Ha. ΔNDU was desperately looking for a song that plays in Lipton tea commercial. Shouted it out loud in twitter saying his phone is too slow to shazam it. Somehow writing in caps helped him out, cause after an hour came another post: Attention! Song found! So this - enthralling- one ;)

#69 Erdmöbel - Blinker

Last minute share, since I couldn't make up my mind about a song to share today. Here is Erdmöbel with its song including lot of clapping (that I adore). What an unconventional band name, too. :-)

#67 The National - Don't Swallow the Cap

I cannot even explain why do I share this song; it's just something good I was able to distinguish from background noise perhaps. The National is the first artist I share here for the second time already.

#65 Mainekk & Erika Angell - Something Broke and Somethings Healed

A friend of mine went to study in Riga and was lucky to go to Mainekk's concert. I read about it from her blog and today I've become their listener. Unintentional blog-marketing :) One of the members of this band is my favorite Estonian guitarist - Erki Pärnoja.

#63 Cargo City - Dance/Sleep

Even though I'm writing this post later than 17th of January, this song just totally matches with what happened the other evening. I made plans to go out (dancing part), but accidentally  fell asleep instead at 7.30 pm (sleeping part). This happens to me like once in a year, so this year's amount is already full. Woke up next morning fucking fresh, though :D

#61 Woodkid, Bruno Bertoli - I Love You

Piece of news about two Estonian bands performing in Eurosonic festival (biggest and most important festival focused on new and fresh successful artists in Europe) ran to my news feed today. At the same event, ten EBBA (Europa Board Breakers Award) will be given out. For example, last year Ewert and The Two Dragons were one of the happy ten winners :) I checked the list of this year's nominees and found (embarassingly) only one artist there that I knew - Woodkid!

#60 Youthkills - Time Is Now

If you're gonna do it - time is now!

I accidentally went to a concert on 14th of January - Introducing live: Kate Boy, Son Lux, Youthkills. Even though they performed in the other way round, I did not like the final artist that much at all (as much as I was okay to listen first two bands). So I let the Youthkills shine.

#59 Arvo Pärt - Für Alina

Meaninful song on the day I started my next level German lessons. Yep, it's instrumental, composed by estonian, named in German.

Among living contemporary composters, Arvo Pärt is the most performed composer for the third year running, states the largest classical event finder online - Bachtrack. http://bachtrack.com/2013-stats?destination=%2F  If that sounds irreverent, then sorry - if there is something or someone very outstanding among our 1,3 million population, it's not a shame to point it out rather to be proud of :)

#58 - David Lemaitre - Spirals

Very charming song that somehow reminds me Jose Gonzalez voice and Abby's rhythms. Besides I love these semitones in the middle of the tune.

#56 Gregory Porter - Water Under Bridges

Since my TV is tricking again and I can see only some couple specific channels, the commercial advertising Gregory Porter's album played many times enough to make me search and listen to his music. Also - one beautiful and cry-grubbing song to finish my sleepy Friday evening.

#55 Jóhann Jóhannsson - Fordlândia

One of my best friends just went to Iceland for a longer period. So through her new contacts I somehow reached to Jóhann Jóhannsson. This song is something typical, though, that pops to my mind when I think about Iceland :) Fordlândia is probably the longest tune I have shared so far.

#52 Sandra van Nieuwland - Hunter

A song I heard from radio when driving from Estonia to Germany somewhere in Poland. I am not surprised that I liked it, because it's is so similar to one of my favorite songs from past year (released 2012 though) - Me and my drummer: You're Runner.

#51 Ott Lepland (& Sven Grünberg) - Hüüa mind

Right song to post on a day when I'm leaving Estonia and don't know when I can come back again :( Since I'm not so big fan of Ott Lepland, that I have listened all his albums, I found that song couple of nights ago from someone's playlist in soundcloud. Quite sad melody, but this is why Sven Grünberg has always captivated me - he is able to write write such beautiful tunes that always make me want to cry :) And one more thing - Ott's Estonian pronuncation is close to perfect, so if you want to hear this language sung properly, he is the one to listen to.

#49 Sara Barilles - I Choose You

Sara back on my track ! :) On 2008 I fell in love with her (and Ingrid Michaelson's) Winter song with the rest of the world and it became my under-the-shower song for a while. Then suddenly disappeared from my consciousness. Now I'm sharing some new(er) stuff. Perfect to listen while I'm knitting right now: I really have time to l i s t e n.
